Getting Started

How do I register my pedal?
Why can't I see my WiFi network?
Why isn't my WiFi password working to connect my pedal?
Why can't I connect to my phone's WiFi hotspot?
Why can't the app find my pedal during registration?

Ensure you have:

  • Your pedal plugged in

  • A phone with the app installed

  • 2.4 GHz WiFi credentials

  • Bluetooth and permissions enabled

Go to My Pedal → Register. If the pedal isn't detected, unplug and replug it. If previously registered, perform a factory reset and de-registration.

Using your Teleport

How do I download the latest firmware?

Open the Teleport app and go to My Pedal → Settings (gear icon). If an update is available, click Update Now. The pedal will download and install the latest firmware, then restart automatically.

How do I adjust the footswitch height?

Yes, you can adjust the footswitch height. Gently use a tool to twist the securing nut, raising or lowering the footswitch. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage.

How do I download a song to my computer?

In the Teleport app, tap the archive icon next to a song to download a compressed .zip of all tracks, including individual WAV dubs.

How do I imported my downloaded song into a DAW?

Unzip the downloaded archive from the app. Each track is in a separate WAV file, time-synced for easy drag and drop into any DAW (e.g., Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton) for editing. Each track aligns automatically via timestamp metadata.

How many dubs are allowed per track?

Teleport does not limit the number of overdubs per song. You can record multiple layers as long as you have enough storage. Increase storage by deleting songs or upgrading to unlimited cloud access.

How many different people can add to a track?

There is no limit to the number of collaborators. Anyone with your song link can download, add overdubs, and re-upload. Each version maintains a clear version history.

How many songs can my pedal hold?

Your Teleport pedal can store up to 60 songs. To add more, delete older songs or transfer them to the cloud via the app.

How can I revert song defaults to factory settings?

Yes. Factory reset your pedal or manually change your settings (inputs/outputs, tempo, drum kit, etc.) and save as new defaults. There’s no automatic “reset to factory” for song defaults.

How do I factory reset my pedal?
Why can't hear any sound coming out of my pedal?

Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the pedal is powered on and active.

  2. Check for a track with audio (look for a green light).

  3. Verify cables and amp connections.

  4. Check that the volume is up and routing is correct.

My pedal lost internet connection. What do I do?

If the WiFi icon is red or yellow:

  • Unplug and replug the pedal

  • Go to Menu → Network Connection → Change WiFi

  • Consider a factory reset and re-registration if issues persist

What are the numbers to the left and right of the tracks?

These numbers indicate routing:

  • The left number is the input channel.

  • The right number is the output channel.

You can change these to customize input and output.

What does "set song defaults" mean?

“Set song defaults” lets you create a template for new songs, including:

  • Input/output routing

  • Tempo

  • Drum set

New songs will automatically load these settings.

What is a parent/child song?

Teleport tracks song lineage. When you download a song, add a part, and re-upload, the new version becomes a child; the original is the parent. This ensures clear collaboration and version history.

When I publish a song, what rights do I have to it? Do I own it?

Yes, you retain full ownership of your songs. Publishing allows others to listen, download, and collaborate based on your permissions (public or private). You remain the rights-holder of your music.

I'm hearing a lot of static & noise from my pedal. Is that normal? Could it be a power issue?

No, it is not normal. Please make sure that you are using a dedicated 9v center negative power supply that is supplying 200ma. Many power supplies have ma settings, and many default to under 200. It is also a very common issue for digital and analog pedals to make unwanted noise when sharing the same power supply. Please make sure your teleport ihas it's own dedicated, grounded power.
